Biography

Agnes Patrice Swai is the founder and CEO of African Child Comforters Organization (ACCO), a Mwanza-based NGO dedicated to empowering vulnerable children through education, health, and social protection programs. She began ACCO as an advanced secondary student, inspired to create inclusive opportunities for children with special needs, including autism, and to promote gender equality in education.

A passionate youth leader and advocate, Agnes has served as Prime Minister’s Secretary at St Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUTSO 2024/2025), President of AIESEC SAUT 24.25, and a Global Youth Ambassador with Theirworld. She represented Tanzanian Youth at the annual SCORE conference in Uganda, a leadership focused event organized by AIESEC, and completed two semester online environment and climate action training jointly hosted by St Augustine University of Tanzania and Anhalt Applied University, German. 

Recognized as Best Upcoming Female Leader, Agnes as Graduate of Mass Communication specialized in Public Relations  at St. Augustine University of Tanzania combines her expertise in public relations, strategic communication, and cross-cultural leadership to design and implement impactful initiatives such as Back to School, Nuru ya Binti (menstrual hygiene), inclusive education, and climate action programs that actively engage children and youth in building a brighter, more sustainable future.
